Saying “goodbye” to the ESA’s Gaia probe. After over ten years of mapping our galaxy, the Gaia satellite has been placed in a ‘retirement’ orbit around the sun.
And an exoplanet that comes straight out of a sci-fi movie. Cancri 55e is a super Earth that boasts a diamond core and rains shards of diamonds.
