The astronomy club has chosen a topic for their next meeting on May 27th at the library:
Galactic Evolution: Mergers and Cannibalism and the upcoming collision between the Andromeda galaxy and our Milky Way. This will signal a prelude to a new wave of star formation and a giant elliptical galaxy which we will affectionately call, “Milkomeda”.
