Each month, the Champlain Library will unveil a new prompt to spark your reading adventures. Your challenge is to read a book inspired by that prompt. You may be asked to read a book by a debut author, explore a genre you’ve never tried before or something silly, like read a book with a yellow cover.

Our first prompt, in celebration of Black History Month, is to “Read a book by a black author.”

Fiction or nonfiction, it’s up to you. This challenge isn’t just about reading; it’s about embracing diverse perspectives and breaking out of your reading rut.

We hope you join us on this journey. There’s no homework, no one will check up on you, it’s just for fun. If you’re looking for recommendations, stop by and check out our display or talk with our staff.
