The Astronomy Club meets April 28 at 6:30pm at the library. It is open to those 13+. New members are encouraged!

April’s topic is:

Compact Objects- A look at one of the most exotic objects in our universe, Black Holes.  Although we know more about them than we did decades ago, there are aspects that continue to elude us.  The fabric of space/time behaves in bizarre ways as one gets closer to one of these monsters.  In fact, the laws of physics break down if one were to venture past the event horizon.  An entity far stranger than we could imagine.
