Hey there, art enthusiasts and community builders! Have you heard the buzz? Champlain Library is thrilled to announce the arrival of our very own Art Hive, and we’re kicking things off with a special Mother’s Day theme!

What’s an Art Hive, you ask? Well, picture this: a cozy, welcoming space where folks from all walks of life can come together to unleash their creativity, share skills, and connect with one another through the universal language of art. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just dipping your toes into the colorful waters of creativity, there’s a spot for you at our hive!

And here’s the best part: it’s completely FREE! That’s right, no need to break the bank to indulge your inner Picasso. Plus, we’ve got you covered with all the materials you’ll need to bring your artistic visions to life.

Mark your calendars for our inaugural session on Saturday, May 11th, from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Our fantastic facilitator, Maria-Helena Pacelli, will be guiding us through this enriching experience as part of her Art Therapy studies. Ms. Pacelli holds a degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University and is currently pursuing a diploma in Art Therapy. This Art Hive serves as a platform for her studies, combining her passion for art with her dedication to therapeutic practice.

At Champlain Library’s Art Hive, we truly believe that everyone is an artist, and that art-making is a fundamental aspect of human expression. So whether you’re fluent in English, French, or both, come on down and join us as we create, connect, and celebrate the beauty of community together. See you there!
