A special guest speaker will offer a presentation on Monday September 11th, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 7:45 pm, upstairs in the library.
The presenter is Dr. Haley Sapers, PhD as a Canada Vanier scholar in planetary science at Western University. Adjunct professor at York University. She worked with the NASA Astrobiology Deep Life Node (University of Southern California, CALTECH, and JPL at NASA), to mention a few. Researcher and visiting scientist (CALTECH).
The presentation topic will be ‘Searching for methane seeps (on Earth) to improve our understanding for potential life beneath the surface of Mars’.
