Don’t miss all the fun activities this summer as the Champlain Library offers the TD Summer Reading Club once again. This is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities. This year’s theme is Once Upon a Time; Myths and Legends. The program is available at no charge for residents of Champlain, East Hawkesbury and students of local schools.

Kids will venture into magical realms where fantastic creatures roam and anything can (and will) happen. Discover the power of stories and storytelling to entertain and illuminate important lessons. They will be enchanted by fairy and folk tales, old and new and from far and wide, as they journey through suspenseful twists and turns. Whatever the stories may be, they are bound to inspire them to imagine and even tell their own story.

The library is excited to bring you great activities and fun reads to get creative on the topic! Registration for the Summer Reading Club (SRC) will begin on Tuesday, June 14 between 2 pm and 5 pm in front of the library at 94 Main Street in Vankleek Hill. This year’s registration prize will be an inflatable fire breathing dragon tube. Watch out for more details on the library’s Facebook, Instagram and Website or call the library at 613-678-2216.
